Welcome to Bulls Blog!

So I've been thinking of doing a blog for some time now, but I never really had anything to write about. Then, I thought that since it's basketball season, and I never miss a Bulls game, I would write about them. I DVR every game religiously, and decided I would take notes on each one, keeping a sort of running diary of the game. I guess you could say it's in the vein of Bill Simmons, but I'm not a huge fan of his, so you won't hear that from me. Anyway, if you find yourself missing games, or just want to re-live the glory, this is the place for you.

As a Bulls fan living in Boston, my only choice to see the team is to order NBA League Pass (although I do go to see them every time they come to town). I'd done it the last 2 years, but after last season's debacle, I didn't plan on renewing the package again. That is, until a miracle happened on May 20, 2008. Then, I knew that I had no choice, and would happily shell out the $179.

I made cases for both Beasley and Rose, but suffice it to say, I am ecstatic that Rose was taken with the pick. Having not seen him much in college (only during the Tournament), I didn't really know what to expect. But after seeing him single-handedly come back and win a game vs. Dallas in the preseason, I knew he was special. So far this season, he has only gotten better. I have a huge man-crush on him, and will pay special attention to him throughout this blog.

I apologize that we are already halfway through the season, but I figure better late than never. Enjoy!
